| Kern Briscoe, President, Director came to VS in 1985 as a Project Supervisor, after earning his BA at U of C & honing his skills in the industry for 10 years. He was quickly promoted to Manager of Special Projects, then to Manager of Roads & Special Projects. When VSC was the successful proponent for Southern Alberta’s Highway Maintenance Contracts in 1996, he also assumed management of that Division and in 2001 was promoted to VP, Asphalt Operations & Highway Maintenance. In 2008 he was promoted to Sr. VP, Director & in 2010 was appointed to the Presidency. In his 36 years in the construction industry in Calgary, Kern has forged enduring partnerships with developers, clients, suppliers & subcontractors as well as earning their respect. He is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of VS as well as those of our subsidiaries, H. Wilson Industries in Fort McMurray & McNally Contractors in Lethbridge. |

| Mike Festa, Sr. Vice President, Director earned his C.E.T. at SAIT & has served VS since 1978 as an Estimator, Project Coordinator, General Superintendent of the Underground Division, Calgary & Southern Alberta Area Manager, in 2001 was promoted to VP of Underground Utilities, Special Projects & Design/Build & in 2008 he was promoted to his current position of Sr. VP, Director. Mike is responsible for overseeing all underground utility & special project operations including a work force of 300 people, an very large annual turnover, budgeting, cost control, negotiating contracts as well as public relations with clients, developers, suppliers & subcontractors. His many years in the industry have earned him utmost respect from his peers & an exemplary track record. |

| Greg Hooper, Vice President, Asphalt Operations has been with VS since 1988 following earning his C.E.T. & beginning his career on the asphalt side of construction. He has served as an estimator & project manager & was promoted to Manager of Underground Utilities in 1999. He was recently promoted to his current VP position & in 2010 became a member of the Board of Management. Greg has worked on a variety of projects including the East Rocky View Transmission Main, Nose Creek Sanitary Relief Trunk, Mount Royal University expansion, Killarney Retention Pond as well as numerous feedermains, storm sewers, lift stations & subdivisions in Calgary & surrounding area. His experience in both underground & roads divisions makes him a very valuable asset to VS & a highly respected member of the construction industry in Calgary. |

| Fred Desjarlais, Vice President, Highways Division has been part of the management of VS in the Highway Maintenance Division since 1996 when the Company was awarded the Lethbridge Highway Maintenance Contract. As General Superintendent responsible for management of field operations, Fred helped open the office & commence operations in Lethbridge. Since 2001, when VS was awarded the Calgary Highway Maintenance Contracts, he has risen through the ranks from Operations Manager to General Manager to his current position as one of VS’s Executives. Fred is responsible for Highway Maintenance, oversees the operations of the recent McNally acquisition & is a member of the Board of Management. |

| Scott Price, Vice President, CFO brings over 20 years experience in financial accounting & analysis to the VS Senior Management Team. Scott joined VS in 2007 in his current position & also serves on the Board of Management. He is responsible for all the financial & administrative functions for VS, participates in the development & execution of corporate goals & business plans & helps implement the strategic vision for the Organization. |

| Michael Slattery, General Manager, Equipment & Transportation has over 35 years of managerial experience with VS. In his current role he is responsible for equipment procurement, rental, budgeting, cost control, estimating, negotiating contracts, public relations & staffing his Division for all of North America. He also brings global experience having worked in Nigeria & Ireland within the Volker group of companies. Mike is well known for his Irish sense of humor & can always be counted on to be the entertainer. |

| Ron Saville, Roads Manager spent several years as an Estimator & Senior Estimator prior to assuming his current position & brings over 30 years experience to the table, most of those with the VS family where he has served since 1983. He is responsible for all estimators, project managers & superintendents in the Roads Division as well as all construction activity undertaken by that Division. He is a very hands on Manager who likes to visit field operations as often as possible. His knowledge, expertise & retention of operational details make him an extremely valuable resource who is very well known & highly respected by his coworkers & industry colleagues. |

| Ed Gramlich, Special Projects Manager is a P. Eng. who has been with VS since 1993 when he began his VS career in the Edmonton office. Several years later he set up & managed the Vancouver operations until transferring to the Calgary office in 1995. In 1999 Ed was promoted to his current position & has continually taken on more responsibility & really grown his Division. Ed’s 25 plus year career includes extensive experience with various infrastructure projects including all types of utility construction, grading, paving, concrete, electrical, landscaping, LRT & structural work including retaining walls, bridges, reservoirs & pumping stations. In recent years Ed has played a key role in VS’s infrastructure upgrade of the environmentally sensitive East Village Project in downtown Calgary. |

| Nick Ryan, Plants Manager is a C.E.T. who came to VS in 2002 after spending many years gathering knowledge & honing his skills in various fields. He is a Certified Materials Inspector, a Certified Bridge Inspector, a Certified Member of ASET, a board member of the Alberta Sand & Gravel Association & a member of the Canadian Technical Asphalt Association. He is responsible for overseeing the entire operation of 2 asphalt plants & crushing pits including staffing, material purchase, quality control as well as negotiating & bidding of contracts with suppliers & clients. |

| Scott Wilkinson, Underground Manager is the newest member of the VS Management Team having joined VS in December of 2010. Scott is a Gold Seal Certified C.E.T. & PMP who brings to the table, a wealth of knowledge & experience gained during his many years in the construction industry in Calgary & area. Recently, Scott was an integral part of VS procuring the $70,000,000 Underground Utilities contract for the new runway at the Calgary International Airport. |

| Christine Goldstone, Controller joined VS in 2002 as a general accountant but was quickly promoted to her current position of Controller while completing her C.G.A. with Honors. She is responsible for the day to day operations of the administration, accounting & payroll departments of VS as well as serving as team leader for the procurement of a new Management Information System. |

| Dennis Locking, Corporate Services Manager has been with the VS family since 1978 when he served as Safety Supervisor for the Concrete Division of the Company. In 1980 Dennis was promoted to Manager of Personnel, Risk Loss & Safety & in 1997 was again promoted to his current position. Through the years his Division has undergone immense growth & huge changes in every area. He works with Senior Management in establishing the overall direction of the Company relating to safety, environmental, risk loss & human resources. Dennis is currently, or has been, a board member of the Alberta Roadbuilders & Heavy Construction Association (ARHCA), the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) & the Rundle College Society as well as being a member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering. |

| Jack Brown, Operations Manager, Calgary Highway Maintenance Division came to VS in 2001 as the Contract Manager for the newly acquired Calgary Area Highway Maintenance Contracts. He is a highly qualified, knowledgeable & experienced Operations Manager with a vast knowledge of highway maintenance & construction projects of various types. His role involves working closely with the Highway Maintenance Management Team and Alberta Transportation to ensure that contractual obligations are delivered according to Alberta Transportation Specifications in a safe, cost efficient & environmentally sound manner. In 2006 Jack was promoted to his current position & continues to be an exceptional leader for the Company. |

| Wes Fairs, Controller, Special Projects has approximately 30 years experience as a Controller & has worked in various divisions of VS since 1990. In his currently position he serves as Controller for the Highway Maintenance Divisions in Calgary & Lethbridge as well as head office financial liaison with our subsidiaries, H. Wilson, in Fort McMurray & McNally Contractors in Lethbridge. Wes has played a key role in the implementation of a Management Information System, a GPS billing system & a Road Maintenance System for the Highways Division. He is also part of the team working with the Albert Government to integrate their financial system with the VS Road Maintenance System. |

| Kirsten Nielsen, HR Manager, has been with Volker Stevin since 1995 when she began her VS career as receptionist. In 1996 Kirsten was promoted to Personnel, Risk Loss & Safety Assistant & as the Company grew she specialized in the Human Resource aspect of the Department. After taking on more HR functions Kirsten decided to further her knowledge by attending Mount Royal & earned her certificate in Business Administration Human Resources. In 2010 she successfully wrote the national exams & received the designation of Certified Human Resource Professional. In January of 2011 Kirsten was promoted to her current position as Manager of Human Resources dealing with the day to day operations of the people resources at Volker Stevin. Kirsten is an active member of the Human Resource Institute of Alberta & also serves on the ARHCA committee for Human Resources. |

| Terry Hood, Operations Manager, Lethbridge Highway Maintenance Division joined the VSC team in 1996 when Volker Stevin was the successful proponent in it’s bid for the Lethbridge Area Highway Maintenance Contracts. At that time he brought to the table over 13 years of experience working with Alberta Transportation. Terry’s significant expertise & knowledge combined with his energy spent working with the Department to address change in a positive & proactive manner make him a highly valued member of the Management Team.
